Enjoying a unique and panoramic viewpoint, taking the height and dominating the city, suspending time, the moment to admire the panorama... Department shops, hotels or restaurants... rooftops are particularly popular in real estate and arouse the interest of professionals in search of an exceptional place.

But if they are so coveted, the terraces of these buildings are not always exploited to their true value. So how do you exploit a rooftop?

Bringing your terrace to life all year round

While it is common to see the terraces of buildings come alive with the arrival of the summer, they are often deserted during the autumn-winter period.

However, rooftops can be used all year round: planning a rooftop terrace for the winter period allows you to enjoy its advantages for longer and not to waste these very special and often very expensive square metres.

This requires the installation of semi-permanent structures, which are often set up for a period of 6 to 8 months.

Make your rooftop an event

To make the roof space profitable outside of the summer, these ephemeral constructions allow you to take advantage of an original reception area: offering a cocktail bar or themed restaurant, providing a seminar room with an unobstructed view of the city... are all ways of capitalising on this space and monetising it.

These unusual places are particularly sought after and allow them to stand out from the competition by offering a unique experience and to play on emotion by offering that little something that makes the difference in their offer.

Installing ephemeral structures on your roof terrace

The installation of these event structures can be complex and requires the intervention of professionals. Indeed, although it is not systematically necessary to mobilise a crane to assemble the elements, the installation of a dome on the roof of a building, for example, takes much more time and technical resources than on a ground level.

Geodesic Dome, Container Design, Halo Dome... the shapes of these structures can be diverse but their design and the materials used are designed to integrate with the overall architecture of the building and the surrounding landscape.

The structures dedicated to rooftops must also respect certain technical constraints such as a resistance to winds of more than 100 km per hour.

Once the weather is fine, you can simply dismantle the elements and enjoy the open terrace.
